How much will a web cost to design with Rural Web Design?
Your websites basic cost will be NZD $350.00 plus GST. If you require other hosted services like DVDs on you webpage, secure web pages there will be some additional charges. Please contact me with your site details and I will provide a quote.
What are the costs of maintaining a website?
There are mainly two ongoing costs in maintaining your website and they are
- Domain Name Registration which is currently NZD $27.95 plus GST a year for .co.nz domains, from my preferred provider – Discount Domains
- And an annual fee of NZD $200 plus GST for maintenance and hosting.
Can you buy my Domain Name and look after it for me?
Yes I will purchase your Domain Name and keep it paid up to date for you and the charge (currently $27.95 plus GST) will be included in my annual account.

What is the procedure for paying for my site?
Payment is due on completion of the website and annually thereafter.
What are the costs of updating my site in the future?
Updates are included in the annual fee of $200 plus GST mentioned above, this allows for regular small updates but any major amendments will be quoted prior to commencement. Your changes and updates will be made generally within 48 hours of your request and information being received by me. Any delays longer than that will be advised.
How long will it take to complete my website?
Your website design will start as soon as you provide me with the text, photos and other content that you would like displayed on your site. Your website could be completed within a week or two, but may take longer, depending on the complexity of your site and the how quickly you can provide all of your content.
How do I get started with my website?
You first need to Contact me, and we can then discuss the basics of your site. You will then need to send through any content you currently have and any ideas you would like to possibly include in the designing of your site. I will then send you a first draft; you can then tell me any changes or additions that you would like to see.
